Doug's work is normally very secretive. Recent FDA approval has allowed Doug to share a small part of what he does with the family. He is on a small team of engineers and scientists creating the next generation of Gore Stint devices to repair Aortic aneurysms and ruptures. These new stints and more flexible, last longer, are safer, and can be used in very young patients.
