The Top 10 Things I Should Have Blogged...

Geesh! What a lame blog I have.  When your husband says to you "You have not updated the blog in awhile." You know you are grossly behind. So, here we go people!

10. Doug killed an Antelope

He killed his antelope with his Dad's help. It was a special day for everyone (especially me because it meant I had my husband back at home again!)

9. Rev. Doug
Doug married his friends Tony and Breanna at a beautiful wedding at Forest Highlands. This was just one of 5 weddings in 2 months for us, but it was extra special to hear Doug speak about marriage on such a happy occasion.

8. Family Pictures!

Our family pictures were quite an adventure, but thanks to the great talent of Elizabeth Garcia our pictures turned out wonderful. Lesson: always have skittles at a photo shoot :)

7. Lilly is getting BIG
Here is month #8 and #9. Look at my big girl! She loves clapping and dancing to music, eating applesauce, drinking form big-girl cups, and being on Mommy's hip. She hates when she cannot see Mommy, between 4-5pm just generally, and when I clean her ears. I love you Lilly! I have no idea how I lived without you.

6. Charlie's First Fish

Dad, Charlie, and Papa went fishing one day, and came back with a very special fish! It was Charlie's FIRST FISH! Apparently he is quite the fishermen because no one else got anything that day.

5. Pool Time With Pipa
My Dad, Pipa, was vacationing in Sedona for a few days and so we headed down to share a little pool time with him. Both Charlie and Lilly love the pool. Lilly has become quite the splasher!

4.Mr. Quakers and Star of the Week

Mr. Quakers is a duck that goes home for a week with every star of the week from Preschool. Charlie had lots of fun with him. We went on bike rides, ate donuts, and even went up to Lockett Meadow to check out the fall colors!

3. Last Wedding for the Year

Our last wedding of the year was AWESOME! Our friends Chris and Megan Novak tied the knot at a beautiful mass, and then had a great party in a vintage aircraft museum. We had the best time and enjoyed a photo booth, candy bar, dancing, and the beautiful location. Thanks to Pipa, Mom-mom, and Uncle Patrick for some babysitting help. It was a date night to remember!
2. Baby Henry's Baby Shower!

I am expecting a nephew this next month!!! Eeeeeh! My Sister (who looks so great) is having her baby boy, due date November 28th. They are 99% going to name him Henry James Wyatt! Cannot wait to hold another little peanut. That is two babies in 2012. Lilly and Henry....buds for life!
1. The Pumpkin Train

Last weekend we went on the Pumpkin Patch Train in Williams, Az. It is adorable. All the staff dresses up, and all the little kids too. They drive you out to a "secret" pumpkin patch to get your pumpkin. Drive back to the station while filling up on yummy treats, and then a chance to decorate your pumpkin in a room with everything you could want to glue, stick or paint your pumpkin with. We rounded out our day with a great lunch at a local pizza joint. It was perfect weather, and one of those rare days when everything is easy, fun, and well...perfect! See you next year PP Train.
